Captain’s Guide: How To Use Express Player Lineup
Leagues that use the Advanced Match Builder (AMB) have exclusive access to the Express Player Lineup Feature. This enables Captains to use their phones to create and send the match lineup directly to the scoring tablet. Eliminate paper and enjoy faster gameplay!
Note: Player selections, including last minute changes, can always be updated directly in the scoring app.

– Two Easy Steps –
1. Look for the Captain’s Lineup Reminder Email on Match Day

Lineups can be set in advance for ANY scheduled match:

The “Set Lineup” button can also be found on the league’s public schedule when you are logged into DartConnect TV.
2. Select & Assign Players
Follow the on-screen instructions to add players to specific competitions. Click “Submit” after selections are final to send the lineup to the scoring app.
Use “No Player” for slots when you do not have enough players for the match. Players may be added or changed after submission inside the scoring app.
When lineup is complete, you have two options:
- Share the Proposed Lineup with your team; or
- Submit the Final Lineup for the match
PRO TIP!
After you click “Submit,” your lineup can’t be changed until league night on the app. Partial player selections will be saved automatically. You can close the lineup on one device and continue later from the same or a different device to submit before the match begins.
What Happens Next?
- Players receive an email with the final player lineup
- The scoring app will display the designated players for each set
- Players and fans have the option to view the player lineup alongside the “Live Scoreboard” in DCTV

Special Situations
Does your league only allow partial lineup submission?
For leagues that only allow partial lineups to be submitted, captains will be able to set lineups for some or all segments in advance and then may submit lineups for additional segments as the match progresses.
Does your league play “two matches” with a break in-between?
For leagues that play a single match on separate days and use the AMB “Match Break” feature (common for many team league postseason formats), captains will be able to submit their lineup for the first half only and then may submit the lineup for the second half after the first half is completed.
Does your league play a “tiebreaker” set?
For leagues that use the AMB “Tie-Breaker” feature, the tie-breaker set will only appear in the scoring app when required. Setting the lineup for the tie-breaker is optional and may instead be done in the scoring app when needed. This may only be applicable to post-season matches but some leagues may opt to use this for regular season.
