Leagues that use the Advanced Match Builder (AMB) have to the option to control the player throwing order for team games in accordance with league rules.

For team games (doubles, triples and quads), which of the following rules apply to your league?:

1. Players must throw in the order in which their names appear in the lineup
2. Players can play in any order and may change the order between legs in a multi-leg set

If your league follows rule #1 above, you can choose AMB settings to streamline match navigation by eliminating the need to manually select the throwing order prior to each leg.  Instead of the gold player selection buttons, each leg will begin with the player order automatically selected.

How To Adjust Player Throw Order Settings:

• Open the Division or PS Group settings in your league portal.  If you have not yet activated the AMB feature, click the red button “Activate Now”.  Click Here to Learn More About the AMB

• If you are setting up the AMB for the first time or creating a new format, the Player Lineup options will appear in the section labeled “Match Level Details”.
• If already using the AMB, click the “Edit +” link to review and edit existing settings:
  

  Find the Edit+ link on the right side of the section header.

First, select the Player Throwing Order rule for the FIRST leg:

By choosing “Captain’s designated player order”, the leg will begin with the correct starting player and will follow the order in which players appear in the lineup.  “Player’s Choice” will require player order to be manually selected.

NOTE: If you are NOT using DartConnect’s Express Player Lineup Feature, player order must be manually selected prior to the first leg. You can still streamline match flow by selecting “No” for the “subsequent legs” option shown below and the throwing order will be automatically selected for all subsequent legs.

Next, select the Player Throwing Order rule for subsequent legs:

By choosing “No”, the playing order will be automatically set and manual selection prior to each leg will no longer appear in the scoring app. “Yes” will require player order to be manually selected.

NOTE: Throw order can still be changed during the leg if for any reason the wrong name is listed at the top of the screen. To do this, tap the name of the player at the top of the scoreboard to reveal the gold buttons to adjust the order. IMPORTANT: Pick the name of the player who has the first turn of the leg (not the name of the player who is currently shooting).
