Match Log Enhancements
To assist league administrators with managing match reports, the match log has been expanded to include the following report options: “Match Exceptions” and “Unplayed Matches” (for leagues using the season scheduling option). In addition, the “Completed Matches” log has received a performance improvement.
Larger leagues with multiple administrators may use filters to select relevant matches. Read on to learn about the two new reports:
1. “Unplayed Matches” This report keeps track of which divisions are falling behind and may need rescheduling. Select the player icon to access the relevant contacts for this match.
2. “Match Exceptions Report” alerts admins to any matches that may require review, correction or approval. Leagues receive a weekly email with flagged match counts. Schedule the timing of this notice in your portal’s Season Settings.
Matches will be included for one or more of the following reasons:
- Match played on the wrong date
- Wrong number of sets played
- Wrong number of league points recorded
- Sets played short-handed
- Includes forfeited sets
- Sets with missing players
- Unsaved Matches
- Incomplete Matches
If a match exception is acceptable, select “approve” to retire it from the list.
Additional admin tools:
- Sort columns by clicking any header
- “Contacts”: View player or team captain email addresses and phone numbers
- “Review” (Blue Spyglass): Open match report in a separate window
- “Edit” (Red Spyglass): Open match editing page
- “Approval”: Check box and click refresh button to hide approved matches
Pro Tip: If your league has a format that is generating “False Positives”, use the “Batch Approve” tool in the left control panel to approve multiple matches simultaneously:
