When the Tournament Begins
MATCH NIGHT IS TUESDAY!
The tournament will commence on Tuesday 8th October @7pm. Matches will be played each Tuesday evening at 7pm until the tournament is finished. The exact number of matches and rounds will be determined by the final number of teams that sign up. The tournament will run no later than the end of November 2024.
Teams should be logged into the Darts Connect platform ready to play their matches no later than 18:50 each Tuesday match night.

The tournament will be set up as a ‘Modified Round Robin League’ each team will play at least 3 league matches with winning teams progressing to knockout rounds.
Matches will be played over October and November with the exact tournament length and number of weeks determined by the number of teams who sign up.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The tournament schedule will be released one week prior to round one.**
Group Stage:
Teams will be organized into divisional groups of 3-4 teams
Every team is guaranteed a minimum of 2-3 matches depending on group size.
Playoff Stage:
Top 16 Qualifying teams advance to the Championship Bracket which is single elimination knockout. Playoffs will last between 4-6 weeks depending on team numbers. Note: Playoff qualification may change based on participation numbers.

GAME PLAY
Team captains will log into the scoring device (smartphone or tablet) and select the match from their schedule. The team’s opponents will do the same thing and both teams will be able to play and score their match in real time, player one throws, enters their score, submits and then their opponent throws.
A step by step guide on how to login to the darts connect platform and play your matches will be provided ahead of the first round.
LIVE STREAMING
Teams are strongly encouraged to have a second device for live streaming their match. We advise you to run the scoring app on a phone/tablet next to your dartboard, while running “DC VideoConnect” on a separate device with the camera pointing to the dartboard. Live Streaming your matches will make your games more engaging and you’ll have a better rapport with your opponents. MATCH FORMAT & SCORING
- Teams play all matches from their host venue.
- Four sets of Singles 501 SIDO. Each set will be Play All 3 legs (not “best of”)
- In the group stage, teams earn 2 points for a match win and 1 point for a tie (with statistical tie-breakers as needed for division standings)
- Playoffs will follow a similar format as the group stage except best of 5 sets, all sets will be best of 3 legs (first to win 2 legs wins). First to 3 set wins advances to the next round.
